On June 15, 2019, approximately 400 former Tolentians visited St. Nicholas of Tolentine Grammar School (previous high school, as well as the original grammar school) to have one last memory lane walk-through before it closed. Several buses full of Tolentians came from points north, some as far away as New Hampshire, and many others visited from areas surrounding New York City and The Bronx. A blessing was given on the steps of the school in thanksgiving for all the wonderful years of service it provided to so many. Afterwards, a beautiful mass of thanksgiving took place in the church. Thank you to everybody who worked hard to make the day so special! Our school will continue to operate, but as a charter school. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
