Tolentine Grammar School Closing Events

There will be an open house and final mass for the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Grammar School on Saturday, June 15th. The current grammar school (which was the former high school) at 2336 Andrews Avenue North (pictured above on the right), and the original grammar school at 2331 University Avenue (pictured above on the left – Dominican Sisters Center) will be open. There will be a final mass in the church at 2:30pm. If you live north of The Bronx and were planning to drive, there will be buses leaving from Dunwoodie for those who don’t wish to deal with parking around the church, which can sometimes be difficult. 

SCHEDULE
Saturday, June 15th, 2019

  • 11:30am Buses depart from Dunwoodie (reservation required)
  • 12:00pm to 2:00pm Both schools (Andrews Ave. and University Ave.) open for viewing
  • 2:00pm Final Benediction on the steps of the grammar school (Andrews Ave.)
  • 2:30pm Final school mass in the church
  • Luncheon offsite
